Digital skills workshop.

Digital technology is focused on the human being and their needs. Each student must acquire the skills that allow them to understand how computing devices work, how to design and program a competent solution, and how to make responsible, critical, creative and participatory use of the digital world we live in.

For this, HiCode Education structures the DIGITAL COMPETENCES WORKSHOP flexible to the most important standards worldwide (UK, CSTA, ISTE and IB), where students enhance their agency through inquiry, analysis and resolution of problems, using a wide variety of principles and techniques.

OUR DIGITAL SKILLS WORKSHOP provides each student with the digital skills that serve as a link between innovation and creativity: taking ideas and exploring the possibilities and limitations associated with different software, allowing them to redefine and manage the generation of new ideas through prototyping , experimentation and adaptation to the needs of their environment.

In this workshop each student:

* Adapt their approach to different situations, but share a common understanding of the process needed to form valid and appropriate solutions.
* Acquires a role to play in the community, and is responsible to it and the environment. Their decisions can have a huge impact and therefore their ethical and moral principles can and should be questioned frequently.
* Develops their ability to maintain an impartial view of a situation and evaluate it objectively, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of the software they are developing with a user-centered approach.
* Develop good communication skills.
* Power their imagination and creativity.
* Acquire a solid foundation of knowledge about computers and how different computing devices work.
* Gain programming skills while developing their own websites, apps, animations, video games, and artificial intelligence.
* Develops their computational and algorithmic thinking for problem solving through programming.
