In January 2019 02 professionals with a Psychopedagogy and Computer Science background met to discuss global education and how they could contribute to world education. It was the point of departure to found HiCode Education.

In April 2019, after multiple meetings, we realized that despite living in a technological world in constant innovation. The same does not happen in education. Only a limited number of countries include digital skills as part of their curriculum, so it widens the inequality of opportunities for boys, girls and youths.

In May 2019, We define our mission, vision, philosophy and values giving personality to HiCode Education. We will not achieve extraordinary results working ordinarily.

In July 2019. We developed the first Curriculum seeking to complement basic education by learning Computing and Programming.
HiCode Standards: "National curriculum in England" y "CSTA standards" they are the basis of HiCode Standards. Being a global proposal and foundational of our Curriculum.
HiCode Curriculum: Based on our standards we give place to the following courses: "HiCode Pre-Reader" y “HiCode Exploring Technology” for girls, boys and youths between 05 and 15 years old.

HiCode Standards: We add standards for creative development thus promoting the creativity of each student.
HiCode Curriculum: The creative development standards are implemented in “HiCode Exploring Technology” which is evidenced in each project.

HiCode Study Plan: The new creative development standards are implemented in “HiCode Computer Science for all”.
HiCode Study Plan: We implemented an "Hour of code" counter in the course “HiCode First Steps”. In this way we promote a fun competition among our students.

- We implement in our Study Plan, "Digital Citizenship".
- The concept of "Quantum Computing" is added.
With HiCode 2.0 we renew and expand our courses to: "HiCode Pre Reader", "HiCode First Steps", "HiCode Exploring Technology", "HiCode Computer Science for all" and "HiCode Scientists", covering with them all ages of basic education.

HiCode Study Plan: We added the concept "Kind and courageous", as part of our study plan to prevent cyberbullying.
HiCode Study Plan: We added “Artificial Intelligence” to our course “HiCode First Steps”. Thus offering a first approach to this important field today.

HiCode Study Plan: We add sessions of competitive programming to our courses "HiCode Exploring Technology" and "HiCode Computer Science for all". Our aim is to consolidate the standard of "Design, implement and improve algorithms computational solutions that solve real-world problems."
We inaugurate “OpenHiCode”, a free space for any student of HiCode who wants to share their doubts or new learnings with other students. As well, where students from different courses help each other, promoting a culture of collaboration between us and our students.

HiCode Study Plan: Bitcoin and the BlockChain technology are revolutionizing the world. Our students should know what is about this great economic and technological change. We added BlockChain knowledge to the course "HiCode Computer Science for all".
HiCode Payments: HiCode Education accept payments with Bitcoin.

HiCode Study Plan: We added the concept of polymorphism to course “HiCode Computer Science for all”.

HiCode Standards:We added "ISTE standards" to HiCode Standards.
HiCode Standards: We added standards for computational thinking. We needed more tangible evidence that allows us to carry out a better track of each student.
HiCode Study Plan: As long as there is no solid research indicating that kids under 7 years are not affected by exposure to computer screens, we temporarily disable “HiCode Pre Readers”. “HiCode for schools” is not affected by this decision.
HiCode Study Plan: "HiCode Computer Science for all" is merged with "HiCode Scientists", giving rise to "HiCode Computer Science for all".
HiCode Study Plan: Transversely it is added to our concept of "Impact of computing in society", “Women in Computing” as an initiative to inspire more girls and youths to choose technology careers and show their fundamental role in the development of this area of knowledge.
HiCode Study Plan: We make necessary changes on our Study Plan to give all our students knowledge and skill to successfully pass international Computer Science exams like Cambridge, Pearson, IB and College Board.

HiCode Study Plan "Amazon Web Services - AWS Academy" implemented on "HiCode Computer Science For All" to offer cutting-edge technology knowledge about "Cloud Computing" and "Cybersecurity Literacy".
HiCode Study Plan Now, Harvard University Certification is possible to get by approving any of our courses: "HiCode First Steps", "HiCode Exploring Technology" and "HiCode Computer Science For All".
Students Intranet We have created a special space where all our students could have access to relevant and curated material which will help them to successfully overcome our courses.
More reduced groups After many meetings between teachers, pedagogues and our CEO in search of improving the educational experience of our students. We have made the decision to limit all of our groups to 06 students. With this decision we strengthen our commitment to develop the digital skills of our students. More personalized better results.
